About Scott
Scott Kevin Hudson (he/him) is an American actor, writer, director, and comedian who lives in Pittsburgh, PA.
Scott is a humble member of the Ensemble Actors Studio where he performs and trains. Most recently at the “All Things Pittsburgh Play Festival” he was the husband in Tammy Ryan’s “The Cookie Table.” His practical dialects are Standard British (RP), New York City, Pittsburghese, and Southern accents.
Early in his career, Scott performed with short and long-form improv teams, and he wrote and acted in film shorts “The Empty Nesters” and “The CEO.” With Arcade Theater, he writes sketches that are performed publicly. Scott also is a stand-up comedian and was part of the comedy team “Henry & Hudson” with a weekly Zoom show during COVID and featured at the New York City Sketch Festival. He created Spice Rack to write and perform sketches focused on social issues and community-based action.
Scott is an avid athlete and swimmer, proficient in Spanish and Portuguese with expatriate experience, and a dabbler in sculpture and ceramics. He has an MBA, and served as an adjunct graduate faculty at Carnegie Mellon University and University of Pittsburgh.
